Erasmus+ is an EU funded programme designed to encourage mobility for students in Europe. The programme provides funding for students to undertake a structured period for work experience in another state. There is also provision for teaching staff to accompany students in the initial period. The Erasmus+ programme is designed to further the aims of the Europe 2020 Agenda.
BCFE has established educational partners in Finland since 2010 and has sent a cohort of students each year for work experience. We are always seeking new host organisations to offer places to our students.
The Business Course
Students involved in this particular project are undertaking a 2 year Diploma in business. They have completed the first year and this on-the-job learning experience forms part of their second year curriculum. The students are typically aged 20-21. They study a range of business subjects such as Accounting, Human Resources and Marketing.
The work experience takes place over 2 weeks commencing 6 March 2017. The students will be based close to their place of work. The student will agree a work programme, in advance, with the host organisation.
